MathSMART
is required of all AA cohorts with an exam score of 70% or better, and is
held on selected Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A
special weeknight session is held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Refer to
the grid below for specific dates. The cost for MathSMART is $100.00;
see your advisor to register.
The
first half of each session is devoted to instruction, and the examination is
taken during the last half. Topics covered during the sessions are as
follows: Session I: Introduction to the TI83 Calculator; Session II:
Introduction to Algebraic Expressions; Session III: Simple Linear Equations;
Session IV: Introduction to Graphing Linear Equations.
